In addition to her music career, Lily is an educator, lecturer and member of the academic community.
Lily has a BA in Comparative Literature and and philosophy from the University of Michigan. She is now entering her second year pursuing an MDiv at Union Seminary. She taught for 4 years at U of M’s New England literature program, leading seminar-style classes on American literature, and topics ranging from songwriting to the Gospel of Matthew. She’s guest-lectured and led workshops in university settings on songwriting, creativity and poetics.
